The AMI 1-YR Internship program is a part of Acts Ministries International (AMI), a community of churches seeking to model the spirituality, vision, and partnership exemplified in the book of Acts.

Alice currently lives in Southern California working as an ICU RN in the Los Angeles area. She enjoys serving at Southland and hopes to incorporate her field of nursing with ministry in the local community.

Jessie is a third year medical student at home in Wisconsin who loves jam sessions and watching movies.





Catherine Shubat

Cate is from San Diego, and studied English & Linguistics at Boston University. After graduating in 2016, she spent 2 years in East Asia teaching English, and will be joining the Symphony team in Taipei. She loves studying languages, running, and rapping!

Josh serves as the college pastor at Kairos Christian Church. He recently married his wife Sandra, who he met and won over during their college years at UCSD. Josh is originally from the SF Bay Area, but loves living in sunny San Diego.
