We’re looking for faithful, flexible and passionate teachers to join our team at AMI International School! AMI International School (AMIIS) is a private, Christian school in Cobán, Guatemala. It will follow both American curriculum standards as well as Guatemalan standards. Our hope is that the students will receive a solid biblical foundation through their time at AMIIS to use their knowledge and faith in God to transform their communities. Following the widely successful dual language model, our school aims to equip the students to graduate being fully bilingual and biliterate in both English and Spanish. The year 2020 will be the first launch year, so missionary teachers must be flexible self-starters, passionate about children and excited about building a new school community from the ground up!
AMIIS physically sits within AMI Ministry Center which includes La Gracia church, a children and youth church serving the local village. Missionary teachers will also have the opportunity to serve at La Gracia church. For more information, download this PDF
