Sophia Kang is a Creative Writing major from sunny California. She enjoys witty banter, independent everything, and shopping for great deals. She applied to become an AMI one-year intern because she needed a drastic change to make God number ONE in her life. She wanted to go abroad but God kept her stateside. Internship was helped rekindle the skills and promises God gave her from her youth. What she most enjoys about serving God is that she gets to be pleasantly surprised by his humor and generosity. A lifelong learner, her motto is, “Regardless of what you think, try your best!”

- Pray that OTR LWC staff and interns be united in the same vision and act accordingly
- Pray that I learn how to slow down and be a human being and not a human doing
- Pray for clarity in how to use my talents and interests for the Kingdom beyond internship
